We need your support: Please consider giving to the Music Therapy Access Fund

Support the life changing mission of the Foundation for Accessible Music

Access to music therapy can be life-changing for individuals with disabilities, yet many families face financial barriers that limit their ability to participate. A dedicated scholarship fund helps ensure that cost is never a barrier to receiving these vital, therapeutic services. By supporting this fund, you empower individuals of all abilities to connect, grow, and thrive through the power of music.

The Foundation for Accessible Music is a 501(c)3 non-profit whose mission is to create inclusive, accessible music experiences for all, and expand access to music therapy through advocacy, collaboration, and financial support.

Give through the Foundation for Accessible Music

ITNC bases its treatment approach on the following principles:

Assumed Competence- that the individuals that we serve are capable, intelligent people that benefit from individualized supports as they grow in autonomy, independence, and potential.

Psychomotor regulation- that the development of neurological mechanisms that modulate every individual's actions, communication, and cognition are often foundational to independence and learning.

Total communication strategies- the importance of a variety of communication strategies to provide the opportunity for each individual to functionally and relationally interact with others.

Therapy CAN be FUN- a variety of preferred and improvised music along with instruments and interactive movement can motivate greater participation in challenging skill areas.
