Integrated Therapy of Northern Colorado exists to provide best-practice Music Therapy services, partnering with individuals with developmental or acquired disabilities and their families, to promote positive, interactive, and independent lifestyles.
ITNC believes the key to successful development and/or rehabilitation is generalized supports and strategies for success. Therefore, ITNC strives to integrate practical sensory and competency-based supports into the family, home, and community settings through collaboration and training.
Individual Music Therapy Services
Integrated Therapy of Northern Colorado is dedicated to providing high quality music therapy services to individuals with developmental and acquired disabilities. We provide one-on-one music therapy services customized to meet the needs and preferences of each client and their family. We work with children and adults, utilizing evidence-based music therapy intervention to address communication, cognitive, motor, and social goal areas. Each individual placement includes a comprehensive assessment, collaboration with the client's other health care team members, and on-going documentation of all sessions. Mentorship & Collaboration
Mentorship for professional development for music therapists is offered regarding individual music therapy services for individuals with autism, facilitating a music therapy small group, integrating family into the therapy process, and more. Group Music Therapy Services
Music therapy groups can be highly motivating settings to address social, motor, and communication difficulties. The groups include the use of instrument playing, singing, song writing, movement to music, and collaborative music participation to develop functional skills in a fun, interactive, and highly motivating way. Integrated Therapy of Northern Colorado currently provides the following groups:
Young Adult Choir: An integrated choir that uses group singing and vocal training to improve breath control, volume, articulation, and social interaction. Click here for more information.
"Music with Friends" and “Saturday Socials” small group music therapy: Groups of 3-5 participants of similar ages and similar needs that use instrument play and movement with music to improve in social interaction, communication, and/or cognitive skills development.
"Rockin’ & Rollin’ Movement and Music” group participants with limited independent movement and their caregivers use instrument play and movement with music to improve or maintain strength, coordination, endurance, and motor control. Click here for more information.
