ITNC’s mission has always been to partner with individuals with developmental or acquired disabilities, their families, and the community to promote positive, interactive, and independent lifestyles.
We believe that part of this positive and interactive lifestyle includes opportunities for accessible and meaningful music in the community.
Every year, ITNC has brought more and more opportunities to our community through programs like
All-Abilities Adult Choir
Jingle & Jive Inclusive Holiday Celebration
ITNC’s Virtual Summer Showcase Spectacular
Performances at community and sporting events
All-Abilities Open mic/Karaoke night
and more.
The community has made it clear that more of these kinds of programs bridge the gap between the work done in music therapy sessions and REAL engagement in the community.
To better fulfill our mission of supporting positive and interactive lifestyles for individuals with disabilities in the community, we are thrilled to share the new affiliate non-profit (501(c)3 pending):
ITNC Foundation for Accessible Music
This non-profit will allow ITNC to better support and grow our community-based music programs, provide alternative funding for music therapy services, and support ITNC community initiatives through grants, sponsorships, fundraisers, and donations. We have exciting and ambitious goals and plans for 2025 and beyond.
2025 Goals:
Access grants and donated funds to create a general fund earmarked to provide increased access to individual music therapy services to those needing assistance or with inadequate funding sources.
Access grants to provide music therapy groups for area day programs, senior living facilities, and early childhood centers.
Develop sponsorships for ITNC community outreach programs like Jingle & Jive, Summer Showcase, Open Mic/Karaoke Nights, and accessible concerts.
